Indiscipline and Misconduct: Hyderabad Police Reveal Facts Behind Constable Yadagiri’s Video

Hyderabad City Police Clarify Facts After Suspended Constable’s Video Goes Viral

Hyderabad:
The Hyderabad City Police have issued an official clarification after a video circulated on social media and WhatsApp groups in which a constable made allegations against senior police officials.

According to the police department, the allegations made by Constable Yadagiri (PC 6211), who was posted at the Women Police Station under Jubilee Hills Zone, are completely baseless and misleading.

In a statement released through the official communication channels, Hyderabad City Police stated that disciplinary action had been taken against the constable due to serious misconduct and repeated negligence in duty.

Officials explained that Constable Yadagiri had a history of indiscipline, including frequently missing roll calls without valid reasons, showing negligence while on duty, and failing to follow basic uniform and conduct regulations expected from police personnel.

The department also noted that complaints had been received regarding alleged illegal demands for money from victims who approached the police station for counselling. Despite repeated warnings from higher authorities, the constable reportedly failed to improve his conduct, which negatively affected the discipline within the department.

Due to these reasons, the Hyderabad City Police Commissioner issued suspension orders against Constable Yadagiri on Saturday for severe negligence and indiscipline.

Police officials further stated that after receiving the suspension orders, the constable allegedly posted a selfie video around 3:00 PM on Saturday in WhatsApp and media groups, claiming that he was attempting suicide due to harassment from senior officials.

The department clarified that the claims made in the video are false and an attempt to mislead the public and damage the reputation of police officers. According to officials, the constable attempted to use the video as a way to cover up his mistakes and exert pressure on senior authorities.

Hyderabad City Police also pointed out that the constable had previously been involved in similar controversies during earlier postings, where disciplinary action was taken against him for misconduct and alleged illegal activities.

The police department has urged the public and media not to believe or circulate the video, stating that it is part of a deliberate attempt to spread misinformation.

Officials added that the Hyderabad City Police will not tolerate indiscipline within the police system, and strict action will continue to be taken against those who violate departmental rules. They also warned that legal action may be initiated against individuals who deliberately spread false propaganda or misinformation on social media.
