In response to the instructions issued by the Hyderabad City Police Commissioner, a massive cordon and search operation was conducted under the jurisdiction of the Borabanda Police Station. The operation targeted the Sanjay Nagar and Sri Ram Nagar localities.
Led by ACP Govardhan, police teams thoroughly searched over 220 houses in the area. During the operation, authorities seized 29 two-wheelers and 3 auto-rickshaws that lacked valid documentation.
ACP Govardhan stated that the residents of these areas cooperated with the police and also brought several local issues to their attention, including safety concerns.
In a parallel crackdown, police also focused on illegal parking in narrow lanes of Karmika Nagar, particularly around the Chilla area. Several vehicles parked unlawfully in small by-lanes were seized during this drive, aiming to clear traffic obstructions and enhance public safety.
This extensive operation is part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order, curb illegal activities, and ensure the safety of citizens in the city’s densely populated areas.
