Swan Lake Apartment Murder: Domestic Help Suspected in Killing of Renu Agarwal (50) in Kukatpally

Hyderabad: A gruesome murder at Swan Lake Apartments in Kukatpally has shocked residents after 50-year-old Renu Agarwal was found brutally killed in her 13th-floor flat.

According to Balanagar DCP Suresh Kumar, preliminary investigation suggests that a domestic worker may have been involved in the crime. Police confirmed that the woman was not only stabbed multiple times with a knife but also had her throat slit.

Renu Agarwal lived with her husband and son in the apartment. On the day of the incident, her husband and son had gone out for business as usual. When repeated phone calls to Renu went unanswered, her husband returned home early. Finding the flat locked from inside, he sought the help of a plumber to enter through the balcony, only to discover his wife lying in a pool of blood.

Police teams rushed to the spot, conducted a detailed inspection, and began a manhunt for two prime suspects. Forensic experts have also joined the investigation to gather crucial evidence.

The shocking crime has raised serious concerns about the safety of women inside high-rise apartments and gated communities in the city.
