CC Road and Storm Water Drain Works Worth ₹2.94 Crore Inaugurated in Erragadda Division

Hyderabad: Major developmental works were inaugurated in Erragadda on Saturday with the laying of CC roads and storm water drains in multiple localities under Jubilee Hills constituency. The works, taken up with an estimated cost of ₹294.20 lakh, are aimed at improving civic infrastructure and easing waterlogging issues in the division.

The project covers Bharath Nagar X Road, Netaji Nagar, Sultan Nagar, Prem Nagar, B. Shankar Nagar, and Rajiv Nagar in the 101-Erragadda Division, Circle-19, Serilingampally Zone (SLPZ) of GHMC.

The inauguration was carried out in the presence of several public representatives and officials. AIMIM MLC Mirza Rahmat Baig, Jubilee Hills Incharge Anwar Sadat, and Erragadda Co-Corporator Mohd Azhar took part in the program on the instructions of AIMIM Party President and Hyderabad MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi.

They were joined by Union Minister and Secunderabad MP G. Kishan Reddy, Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav, and GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, marking a rare show of political unity for civic development works in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, leaders emphasized that the new roads and drains would address long-pending demands of residents and help reduce flooding during rains. They assured that further developmental initiatives would continue across Jubilee Hills constituency to enhance public amenities.

The civic works are part of GHMC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen basic infrastructure in residential colonies and improve the quality of life for citizens.
