Jubilee Hills Voters’ Demand Answered: Azharuddin Takes Lead on Graveyard Land Issue

Former Member of Parliament and TPCC Working President Mohammed Azharuddin, who is also the incharge of Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency, has taken a proactive step in addressing the long-standing issue of graveyard space in the Rahmat Nagar area.

Responding to increasing public demand for additional land for the Qabrastan in Rahmat Nagar, Azharuddin Garu met with Telangana WAQF Board Chairman, Mr. Azmatullah Hussaini, to discuss the matter in detail. During the meeting, he highlighted the urgent need for expansion of graveyard space due to growing population pressures and lack of sufficient burial grounds in the constituency.

In response, Chairman Azmatullah Hussaini assured that the WAQF Board will immediately begin the process of identifying available land within the Jubilee Hills constituency and take swift action to resolve the issue.

Present during the meeting was Syed Qasim Ali, Vice President of Indian Youth Congress, Secunderabad, who supported the initiative and lauded the efforts of Azharuddin for standing with community concerns.

This timely intervention reflects Azharuddin’s commitment to addressing public grievances and ensuring that essential civic needs, especially those related to dignity in death, are not overlooked. The development has brought hope to many residents of the area who have been appealing for this essential facility.
